Our latest generation of knife holders has already gained the trust of our first customers. Many slitting systems, equipped with multiple knife holders, have been successfully upgraded to the latest DIENES technology.
This model, the PSA-DF-CSL “Long Life” knife holder incorporates all the DIENES features that make the knife holder particularly effective and user-friendly.
On the one hand, it includes the latest DIENES technology with the brand new, patented CSL3 (Constant Side Load), and on the other hand it is user-friendly thanks to the tool-free knife changing „Easy Change“ and the simple depth adjustment via Depth Control.
In case collisions of top knives and bottom knives, or instable slitting forces are a common problem, by using the “Long Life” knife holders, the offset between top and bottom knives can be increased in the HMI (Human Machine Interface) of the slitter. As a result, collisions are avoided and the knife holder applies a controllable force for all cuts with a distance between 0.5 and 3 mm.

The PSA-DF-CSL “Long Life” knife holder is compatible with many existing PSA-DF models, making it a cost-effective upgrade for current slitting systems. Its super-rigid design and double-axis guidance ensure stability and accuracy, even for high-speed operations.
