Since the invention of the fixing of the collar on plain shaft, numerous utility models and patents demonstrate the constant drive for technical innovations. Excentric ring fixing for plain shafts<\/h3>\n

1958 – With this invention, our founder Karl Rudolf Dienes made it possible to fix the collar and grooved knife on a plain shaft. This method is also known as ball ring excenter. The design, which has been tried and tested for years, still offers secure fixing with minimal radial deviations of the dished and grooved knives. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Pneumatically adjustable knife holder<\/h3>\n

1970 – With the patent publication of the first pneumatic knife holder, DIENES has succeeded in significantly increasing the ease of use and the functional safety of the cutting process. For the first time, DIENES has replaced the manual adjustment functions of the knife holder with a pneumatic sequence of movements. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

1991 – Already this year, DIENES was able to apply for a patent for an electrically operated knife holder. Automated knife depth adjustment, high-precision cutting force control and up-to-date data acquisition paved the way for Cutting 4.0. Longitudinal slitting machine with slitting cassettes (crush cut) <\/h3>\n

1992 – The patenting of a slitting cassette for the crush cut process enables the tightest tolerances with enormously short set-up times. This innovation has proven itself to this day in the cutting of seals, insulating tape, adhesive tape, tape and nappy closures. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

2001 – These self-springing knives are a world first! The spring effect is achieved by slits in the knife. Additional coatings extend the service life and even the narrowest cutting widths are no problem with these innovative knives. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Depth adjustment Senso Control<\/h3>\n

2004 – Red and green LEDs tell the operator in which direction to turn the adjusting nut for manual depth adjustment. This clever innovation, which ensures more precision and safety especially when changing knives, is already being used successfully by many customers. The overlap depth thus remains constant, even with regrinded knives. The measurement is carried out contact-free via sensors. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n
