Experiencing production up close<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Following a brief welcome at 3 p.m., a guided tour through our production facility began. In small groups, participants gained fascinating insights into key stages of the value chain for one of our core products \u2013 the knife holder.<\/p>\n\n

From the initial processing steps to our modern CNC machining centers, which ensure precise tolerances down to the smallest detail, each stage impressively demonstrated the interplay between technology and expertise. In the systems assembly area, the individual components were finally brought together to form the finished product, supported by a harmonious combination of manual work and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many, it was fascinating to see how much know-how, care, and technology go into each individual knife holder. Especially for colleagues who normally have little direct contact with production, this was a great opportunity to experience how our products come to life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

TEOC (The End of Coincidences): Digitalization meets slitting technology<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Rolf Thielen, Head of our Automation Department, presented the TEOC brand (The End of Coincidences) in the newly designed break room. At DIENES, TEOC brings together all activities related to electronics, sensors, software, hardware, and digital services.<\/p>\n\n

TEOC is not a stand-alone solution, but a comprehensive digitalization approach with a clear goal: to systematically collect, analyze, and utilize data from the slitting process to better understand production operations and continuously improve processes.<\/p>\n\n

Company history & a relaxed conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the new meeting rooms at our sales department, Maja Supe-Dienes also gave a captivating overview of our family business’s 112-year history and our global locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, freshly prepared potato pancakes, cold drinks, and good conversation awaited the attendees. In a relaxed atmosphere, colleagues from a variety of departments exchanged ideas, away from the daily routine, but right in the heart of the company.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
