DIENES Werke at ICE Europe 2023

Previously, the ICE exhibition was organized on a two-year basis, but the Corona Pandemic interrupted this tradition in 2021, resulting in the ICE Fair being held in 2022 and 2023. Last year we were already pleased to participate again in the international converting fair and to maintain personal contact in the industry. Also in 2023, we participated in the show at our booth 500 in hall A6. We took the opportunity to exchange know-how and to present our new products and innovations.

Besides our best-selling knives and knife holders like the knife holder DS 4 or the knife holder DS 8, the ICE was the perfect place to introduce a new type of knife holder from the DIENES portfolio: the knife holder PSGs DF with Easy Change. At the show, visitors were able to see and test the Easy Change function, allowing tool-less knife changes, on this type of knife holder for the first time. Another highlight of the show were the “TEOC Service Packages”, a subscription based model, available for modern DIENES fully automatic positioning systems – something unique in the field of industrial slitting.

Last year we won the ICE Award with our TEOC.Holder Concept knife holder, which represents the hardware from our TEOC Service Packages. This year, we were able to continue our success and we were able to win the ICE Award with our product « TEOC Service Packages », again in the category « Digital Converting Solutions ». Winners in other categories were this year tesa and Inometa.

We are pleased to look back on a successful trade show. Our knife holder with the new Easy Change function enjoyed great popularity among visitors, also our Slitting Academy with its own slitting laboratory met with great interest. All this proves to us that we are on the right track with our pioneering products and in the field of digitalization of industrial slitting.
