Messerfabrik Neuenkamp: Milestones of a special year
Since 1976, Messerfabrik Neuenkamp has been part of the DIENES Group.
As a wholly owned subsidiary, Neuenkamp complements the DIENES product portfolio with high-precision tools for slitting and trimming systems – particularly for the processing industries of steel, metals and non-ferrous materials. Neuenkamp stands for precision, quality and decades of experience in industrial slitting technology. Against this background, we are particularly proud of the significant milestones this traditional company achieved over the past year.
A special highlight of the year was the 100th anniversary celebration of Messerfabrik Neuenkamp, which took place directly at the company’s site together with employees and their families. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, not only was a century of company history reviewed, but above all the cohesion and commitment of the people who shape Neuenkamp were honored. The anniversary impressively illustrated what Neuenkamp has stood for over the past 100 years: appreciation, a strong sense of community and a clear focus on the future.
A key step toward the future was the realignment of the management team. With Martin Geveke as Technical Director and Maja Supe-Dienes as Commercial Director, the management team was strategically strengthened. Together with Rüdiger Uhlitz, who has shaped Neuenkamp for three decades, important foundations were laid for the company’s further development. We are particularly pleased that, for the first time, a member of the founding Dienes family has taken on active responsibility within the management of Messerfabrik Neuenkamp with Maja Supe-Dienes.
Neuenkamp was also present on the international stage: at Blechexpo in Stuttgart, the anniversary was celebrated in October together with customers, business partners, and colleagues – an impressive proof of the close ties and trust that Neuenkamp has enjoyed for decades.
These milestones clearly demonstrate that Messerfabrik Neuenkamp continues to stand on a solid foundation even after 100 years. Experience and innovation go hand in hand, driven by a strong team and a shared vision within the DIENES Group to further develop sustainable industrial slitting solutions. This combination of decades of expertise is also reflected in Neuenkamp’s products. Special knife materials combined with purpose-designed bonded stripper rings and spacer ring sets guarantee perfect cut quality – essential today in industries such as automotive, aerospace, machinery and electrical engineering. Neuenkamp’s roll shear slitting systems are known for achieving tolerances of up to ±0.001 mm; for special requirements, accuracies of up to ±0.0005 mm are possible.
