Open House at DIENES

On 09.12.2019 & 10.12.2019, our customers once again had the opportunity to experience another DIENES high-tech cutting system up close. We will give you an insight into the Open House event at DIENES, present you with examples of the daily schedule and the presented cutting system of this Open House date in more detail and cordially invite you to take advantage of the next opportunity and learn more about us.

The daily schedule:

At an Open House at DIENES, each of the participants has their own contact person so that questions can be answered as quickly and in detail as possible. In this case, 25 people took part, who were divided into smaller groups. The rough time structure was as follows:

  • From 9:45 AM: Registration at the gatehouse
  • 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Introduction in the training centre
  • 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Tour of the system and guided tour of the production areas
  • 11:35 AM: Guided tour ends at the training centre
  • 11:35 AM: Individual appointment with Mr Rudolf Supe-Dienes

The slitting system:

Among other things, this slitting system was presented in final assembly during the Open House at DIENES: SPITZ AUF SPITZ, MODUL VIII-S-TC SIMU FLASH. In addition to our tried-and-tested Twin-Cut cutting process, this slitting system uses a new operating concept, a new drive technology (closed-loop technology) and an extremely modular design in terms of hardware and software. An important cornerstone for digitalisation.

This high-tech slitting system was presented to customers at an open house event at DIENES.
  • The positioning of the DIENES shear cut knife holders is done automatically and simultaneously with SIMU-FLASH.

  • With the help of the menu-guided recipe input, more than 500 “recipes” can be saved, accessed and managed. This is done via a touch panel with DIENES user interface.
  • This slitting system uses the modernised scissor cutting method, the point-to-point cutting method, also known as twin cut. Here, a pointed circular knife is used instead of a classic bottom knife.

This picture shows a sketch of the point-to-point cutting process. This is used in the slitting system that DIENES presented at the Open House event in December 2019.

We also invite you to visit us in Overath near Cologne, to gather new impressions and to have expert discussions with us.
