Functionality
Laminating is the process of joining multiple layers of material together. In this way, the actual materials can be joined with technical films, improving their stability and appearance. In such a process, special attention should be paid to surface cleaning and the breathability of materials.
Depending on the requirements, laminating can be carried out using various techniques and different means. For hot lamination, solid adhesive is used at room temperature to bond the material and laminating film together at a temperature between 60-80°. For cold lamination, a simple adhesive is used. For lamination using presses, the layers to be joined are first joined together as in hot lamination, and then welded by subsequent cooling.
