Grooved Razor Sleeves from DIENES

Use of the grooved razor sleeves

In the razor cut the razor blade dives into the groove of a bush. The cutting widths are here bound to the respective groove pitch.

The grooved bushings for razor blade cutting are usually pushed onto a shaft and axially clamped. Depending on customer requirements and operating conditions, we can offer these bushings in various material designs, pitches and slot widths:

  • Steel natural hard
  • Steel hardened
  • Stainless steel natural hard
  • Stainless steel hardened
  • Aluminum alloy with hard coat wear layer (for weight reduction).

If necessary, the bushings are also available balanced. The pitch and slot width is determined by the customer.
